Air Pollution Causes Diabetes
By: Gray Daitch
Air pollution caused 3.2 million people to develop diabetes in the year of 2016. The emission that cars and factories let out into the atmosphere was the source of this problem. Studies have shown that air pollution already makes the risk of diabetes and heart disease worse. In July, 14 percent of people who got diabetes was from air pollution. The effects of this were weight gain, diet problems, and lower activity level. It’s reported that the United States is high in the list for clean air.
