Freshwater has become very scarce in countries like India, Ethiopia, Nigeria, China, D.R.C., Indonesia, Tanzania, Uganda, Pakistan, and Kenya. The difference in water usage between 2014 and 2025 is projected to be about 20%, or 12 Billion Cubic Meters.

Population Growth and Climate Change are affecting the world’s water supply. Population Growth is affecting the world’s water supply by raising the need for agriculture to feed more people. This results in more water being used to grow the crops, instead of being used for drinking water. Climate Change is affecting the world’s water supply by changing water cycles. This means that more water is moved to places and people who might not need the water and people who actually need the water to survive may not get it, because none of the water has been naturally moved to them. Some families have to make the decision to plant crops to make energy to sell to energy companies, but in turn have no crops to feed themselves. Every action will have a consequence, which can affect other people, or even yourself.
