In South Africa over thousands of rhinos were killed last year. The reason people kill rhinos is for a social class, eastern (medicine) is what some believe it is good for. Scientifically proven it does not have any effect on your mental or physical state. It is considered an investment when it is used for decoration, fashion, medicine, and cultural attributes. The killings are off the charts, it is very possible for rhinos to become extinct this year if we do not put an end to it. The javan and Sumatran rhinos are critically endangered… following a subspecies of the javan rhino being extinct back in 2011.
What do you believe will truly help the rhinos from extinction?
What is the best way to stop the poachers?

ReplyDeletei think what will really help stop rhinos from going extinction is stopping the poachers from taking the horns Brandon Mckinley
ReplyDeleteKilling an entire rhino just for its horn is really bad. I think we need to educate people that it doesn't have any medicinal use.
ReplyDeleteOne way to Stop rhinos from getting killed is putting restrictions on the people who try and kill the rhinos.
ReplyDeleteIf you could stop the demand for the rhino horns by educating people, it would stop the poachers. Also, you could also make the penalties for poaching bigger.
ReplyDeletePeople need to stop poaching, we could put signs up so they stop. -Alvi Lending
ReplyDeleteThe tusks being viewed as desirable needs to be changed so that people don't treat animals like this. -Ashley Herman
ReplyDeletePeople need to find another way to handle things instead of killing .
ReplyDeletePeople who poach are terrible people and we should be more strict when it comes to poaching. For endangered or near-extinct animals we could put them in reservations or have 24-hour protection on them.

I think the only thing to help stop poaching is to bring in greater enforcement that isnt corrupt and wants to do whats best for the environment and society.
ReplyDeleteThe poachers need punishment by the government or the rhinos will go extinct and when the poachers get punishments future incidents will reduce showing force will be the only solution
ReplyDeletePunish the poachers
ReplyDeleteThe best way to stop is by adding/ having more security -Jason
