Nearly one-third of American adults sleep less than six hours each night


The use of certain technology, such as cellphones, could play a role. The number of adults that have smartphone more than doubled in the last couple of years.


Not getting enough sleep can increase the chance of accidents, also can develop conditions such as obesity and diabetes

  3. I feel as if I never really get enough sleep. I think it may be due to passing up the period of time where "enough" is really determined. Not enough sleep could make you weary but having too much sleep can have the same effect on your body as not enough.

  4. If you get ready for the next day you won’t have to rush in the morning. If you turn your off 30 min before you go to bed it will help you fall asleep faster. These are some ways you can go to bed earlier.

  11. Sleep is important for people especially kids and teens. A lot of people don't understand this though, and not getting enough sleep is stressful and unproductive. If some things like work or school hours were changed then that would probably help people manage their sleep schedule.
