Shortage of Water
By Jeffrey Rathert
Lack of clean water has affected around 2.8 billion people throughout the entire earth and every continent. This is mainly due to water scarcity which happens because of water shortage. So far there have been more than 1.2 billion people having a problem with getting a decent amount of clean water. This has created two kinds of water scarcity problems which are physical water scarcity and economic water scarcity. Climate change may be causing some of the water shortage since floods and droughts have an effect on clean water. A few other things that don’t help is an increase in pollution, overuse of water and higher human demands. Growing use of freshwater and the depletion of usable freshwater resources are other reasons why water scarcity is a problem.
Is there enough awareness of this problem?
What action should be taken to correct this?
Do Americans use more than our fair share of clean water?

ReplyDeleteThere is some awareness of this problem, but not enough. There is also not enough action being taken to address this problem.-Jeffrey
ReplyDeleteShortage of clean water is very bad because it can hurt the environment
ReplyDeleteIn what way do floods and droughts have an effect on clean water? Does it pollute the water or displace the water?
ReplyDeleteWhat is one of the most important resources and hopefully this could help
