-The sink holes could be there because of erosion and also all of the tunnels that were built under the city

  2. I think it would be unsafe to travel to a place where the ground could sink abruptly at any moment. Rome is a modern city with the ancient city below it, so sometimes the land on top can shift.-Jeffrey

  3. People won't want to come and visit a place where it's likely they can fall or drive into a sink hole. Seems very dangerous to want to go. ~Gray Daitch

  4. Either they will fill the sinkholes or simply rebuild the ancient city. It's a city Italy can't afford to lose.
